1976 Founding

Horizon Roofing, Inc was founded in 1976 by Dan Scepaniak. What started as a dream built in a Central Minnesota garage quickly turned into a booming business. For 46 years, Horizon Roofing has been on a mission to serve the roofing industry with highly-qualified, uncompromising workmanship, and service. We’ve come a long way in our 46 years but make an effort to stay true to our family-owned roots.

Family Succession

In 2000, upon Dan’s retirement, his son, Kurt, assumed the position of President and eventually became the sole owner. Since then, we’ve seen exceptional growth in our business, all while living out our core values and maintaining high ethics. Our commitment to both employees and customers alike has created a new standard for service excellence and industry leadership in the commercial roofing field. We have built a reputation through our innovative, outside-the-box-thinking and throughout our tenure have earned many esteemed awards, no doubt, making us the winning team to work with.

To provide the best solutions for our customers, we have made an effort to be different.
